INTERNATIONAL SUBSIDIARY MOVING CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS TO COLUMBUS

Councilmember Andrew J. Ginther, chair of the Finance and Economic Development Committee, is sponsoring ordinance 0818-2010 to approve a five-year, 25% Job Growth Incentive agreement for La Senza, Inc. La Senza, a Canadian fashion retailer with more than 320 stores throughout Canada and operations in 45 other countries through its franchise-operated stores, is proposing to relocate its corporate headquarters from Dorval, Quebec, Canada to Columbus. The company plans to invest approximately $1.2 million in building improvements and personal property and create 80 new full-time jobs. The company currently has no employees or operations in the U.S.
